Public Art Commissions & Installation Art

Art commission created by Lucy Slivinski using recycled metal wrapped around the corner of the St. Paul, MN library
Hailing female artist and Chicago Sculptor,  Lucy Slivinski, has a long history of public art commissions and installation art in high profile locations across the United States and Europe.  As an abstract sculpture artist from her beginning, Lucy's style has been commissioned for many large outdoor metal sculptures, live art installations, as well as gallery installations.  Many of Lucy's outdoor public art commissions feature the use of scrap metal and other recycled materials and found objects.  Gallery installations also make use of similar materials as well and are often built on-site where she creates a one of a kind experience.
Please look at the various locations of each installation and we hope you can visit one soon.      Click Here For More

Recycled Metal Sculptures & Found Object Sculptures

Tall abstract sculpture made from recycled metal punch outs on circular base. Created by Lucy Slivinski.
For over 40 years and one of the few woman artists working in metal,  Lucy Slivinski, has created abstract sculpture and metal sculpture  for interior and exterior, residential and commercial spaces.  A majority of her contemporary sculpture features found objects, scrap metal, and other locally sourced recycled materials.  These materials would otherwise end up in a landfill or smelting factory, continuing to harm the environment.  What some have deemed upcycle art or recycled art, Lucy is able to take something discarded and repurpose it into a brand new life!   She  uses space, light, and texture to create works of fine art that emanate profound energy to those who experience it!
